cdbaby.com is a wonderful website of independent musicians of all styles of music. This is a very good website with various search options (type of music, artist, instruments, “sounds like”, etc.) www.cdbaby.com/furman is the link to Jeff's CD, "Jory's Ladder" and www.cdbaby.com/furman2 is the link to "Prettiest Girl in the County"  
 

www.dpnews.com      The Dulcimer Players News is a great publication for mountain and hammered dulcimer information.  There are instructional tips, bios, reviews of new music, workshops and festival listings, dulcimer clubs, and lots of dulcimer related music and instruments to buy.
 

www.jcrmusic.com     This is the website for Jerry Rockwell, a well-known builder, player, and innovator of the mountain dulcimer.
 

www.gilamountaindulcimers.com     A large site with almost anything you would want to find about the dulcimer (music, instruments, find a teacher, etc.).    

 

www.everythingdulcimer.com     The name says it all.  This is a great website with everything you would want to know about dulcimers and the music, including discussion groups.

 

www.dulcimersessions.com     An excellent resource for online discussion and teaching about various techniques and styles of dulcimer playing.

 

www.loishornbostel.com     This is the website for Lois Hornbostel.  Lois has been a major figure in the growth in popularity of the mountain dulcimer, both through her leadership of the “flagship” mountain dulcimer festival at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC and in her tireless promotion of the dulcimer and its music from school age children to senior citizens.
